Experience

Samir was the Group Head – Strategy & Investments for a leading Indian education content company and helped grow its business 4x in 5 years with multiple rounds of private equity, acquisitions and a successful public listing. 

His other work stints include being part of the investment team of Sculptor Capital Management, transaction advisory at Ernst & Young, distress investing for Kotak Bank and Senior Advisor to an early-stage VC fund focused on mobility & EV.

Samir was also the co-founder of a boutique investment bank for 5 years where he supported multiple companies for private equity, acquisition advisory and distress finance. 

Education

Samir is a commerce graduate from The University of Delhi and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Life drives and passions 

Samir is a tech enthusiast and holds a patent for an innovative cooking device. His interests include travelling, reading and sports. He is also an active angel investor and remains closely engaged with the startup ecosystem.
