Erik is a M&A and valuation specialist with a major focus on family businesses.
Experience
Erik has been active in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) for over 20 years. Before becoming a partner at Cognos Netherlands in 2011, he worked at Van Oers Corporate Finance and Deloitte Corporate Finance for many years.
He has a lot of experience in advising companies both locally, regionally and internationally on acquisition and selling processes. In addition, as a certified chartered valuator (Register Valuator or RV in Dutch), he specializes in complex valuation issues.
Education
Erik graduated in Business Economics from the University in Tilburg in 2000 as well as in Business Valuation from Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 2005.
Life drives and passions
Soccer, Cycling, Mountainbiking, Travelling with friends and family, Vineyard with friends and last but not least his family.
