Alice Wells is the Founder and Partner of Cognos Australia. With over 15 years of experience in mid-market M&A, she has led transformative transactions across beauty, fashion, luxury, healthcare, and wellness.

Dual-headquartered in Melbourne and Paris, Lempriere Wells partners with some of the world’s most dynamic consumer brands and investors. Alice and her team have advised on landmark deals with household names, including Estée Lauder, L’Occitane, and Shiseido, helping visionary founders unlock growth, scale internationally, and secure value-add capital.

Her career has spanned Asia, Europe, and North America, giving her a global perspective on consumer markets and capital flows. She is recognised for her ability to connect creativity with strategy, bridging founders’ visions with investors’ ambitions, while maintaining an unwavering loyalty to her clients.

Education

Alice holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Melbourne, Australia, a Master’s degree in Finance from SDA Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

She also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the South China Normal University in Guangzhou, China.
