This deal marks 4th successful closure in the Tech space in the last 2 years by Cognos India’s Tech Team led by Mohit Agarwal, CFA. The deal underlines Cognos’ deep understanding of the Cybersecurity / DeepTech segment.

Founded in 2020 by Manish Mimani and Mohanraj Selvaraj, Protectt.ai provides mobile threat defence solutions, helping businesses safeguard apps against cyber threats and fraud. Its platform also acts as a compliance hub for mobile app owners, ensuring adherence to regulations from entities such as RBI, SEBI and NPCI. Its solutions cater to banking, fintech, insurance, NBFCs, stock exchanges, and government apps.

Bessemer Venture Partners is a marquee Global Tech VC based out of USA having a special focus on Deep-Tech / Cybersecurity with an experience of over 75+ cybersecurity investments and 800+ Tech Investments. Some of their notable cybersecurity portfolio companies include BigID, Forter, Claroty, Axonius etc. Protectt.ai marks BVP’s first investment in Cybersecurity space in India.
